Klein Karoo Valley Guest Farm is situated in the little valley of Opzoek, surrounded by the majestic Swartberg mountains in the heart of the Klein Karoo. Easily accessible 1km off the famous Route 62, it is centrally situated in between Ladismith and the Port Capital of Calitzdorp.

The cottage is privately located on our farm a fair distance away from the main house.

The Cottage
The beautiful restored self-catering cottage in the Opzoek Valley is fully equipped with everything to feel at home. It has one bedroom with a King size bed, which can be converted into a twin if required. There is a double sleeper couch in the lounge and all linen and towels are supplied.
The Bathroom features a Shower and a Jacuzzi Bath. The Kitchen is fully equipped for Self Catering with gas hob, fridge/freezer & microwave.
The Veranda with it’s picturesque views of the Dam and the majestic Swartberg Mountains, has a Built in Braai. Bird life and tranquility surround you.
You are welcome to bring the whole family including furry faces (by arrangement)
The cottage is wheelchair friendly.
Free Wifi connection is available in the cottage.
The farm was recently converted to Off-Grid so there won’t be any power outages.
Things to do in the area..
Besides a quiet and relaxed stay in our beautiful Opzoek Valley, there are also many things to do.
Cycle or drive the nearby Seweweekspoort Pass. Other beautiful passes in the area are The Huisrivier, Rooiberg and Swartberg Passes.
Enjoy walks on the farm or a number of hikes available in the Swartberg Mountains. Visit the the little Mission town of Zoar.
The award winning Port Town of Calitzdorp is always worth a visit.
Oudtshoorn can be visited on a day trip where you can do Ballooning, Meerkat Tours, visit the Cango Caves or Ostrich farms.
